Are you passionate about media, storytelling, and making a difference? WHALER’s Creation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting young adults with job training, housing, and food assistance, is looking for a Media Arts Coordinator to join our team. This is your chance to gain real-world experience in media production while working on meaningful projects that inform, inspire, and engage.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and manage content – Help produce videos, podcasts, and digital media that tell powerful stories.
- Edit and enhance media – Assist with video/audio editing, graphic design, and content distribution.
- Engage on social media – Help share content across platforms and keep our audience connected.
- Conduct interviews and host shows – Participate in podcast recordings and storytelling projects.
- Assist with grants – Research and help apply for funding to support creative initiatives.
- Provide tech support – Troubleshoot basic media equipment and software issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Creative and passionate – A strong interest in media production and storytelling.
- Tech-savvy – Some experience with video editing, content creation, or social media.
- Strong communicator – Able to work collaboratively and express ideas clearly.
- Detail-oriented – Committed to high-quality work.
- Bonus skills – Knowledge of lighting, sound equipment, or camera operation is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
