Position Overview: As a Part-Time Marketing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall marketing efforts of the organization. This position requires a
creative and detail-oriented individual who can contribute to our marketing success through multiple campaigns and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Council Marketing Committee Support:
o Collaborate with the Council Marketing Committee to develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
o Assist in organizing committee meetings, preparing materials, and implementing action items.
• Weekly Marketing Pushes:
o Plan and execute weekly marketing pushes to promote events, programs, and key initiatives.
• Monthly Marketing Themes:
o Contribute to the development of monthly marketing themes to maintain a cohesive and engaging marketing strategy.
• Annual Marketing Vision:
o Work with the marketing team to develop the annual marketing vision, outlining key goals and strategies for the year.
o Monitor progress and provide insights for continuous improvement throughout the year.
• Fall Recruitment Marketing Campaign:
o Lead the development and execution of the fall recruitment marketing campaign.
o Implement targeted strategies to attract new participants and members.
• Marketing Committee Support:
o Provide administrative and logistical support to the Marketing Committee.
To include coordinating meetings, documenting discussions and follow-up on action items
• OutREACH and Adventure Scouts Marketing
• Base Camp Marketing and Merchandising
Qualifications:
▪ Experience in marketing preferred.
▪ Strong organizational and project management skills.
▪ Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically.
▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools/platforms.
