Schedule: Mon - Fri, 3PM - 5:30PM (full time and part time positions both morning and afternoons/early evening)

Job Summary:
The Teacher Aide provides valuable support to the classroom teacher in ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching learning environment for children aged 7 months to 12 years.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct Student Support:
- Assist with classroom instruction and activities, including small group and individual support.
- Engage in interactive play and learning activities with children.
- Supervise children during free play and structured activities.
- Assist with classroom transitions and routines.
Childcare Support:
- Assist with diapering and feeding infants and toddlers.
- Assist with toileting needs as required.
- Provide comfort and support to children.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom preparation and cleanup.
- Assist with the set-up and clean-up of learning materials and equipment.
Teacher Support:
- Assist the teacher with lesson planning and preparation.
- Prepare and distribute learning materials.
- Assist with classroom assessments and record-keeping.
- Communicate effectively with the teacher regarding student needs and observations.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with young children (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry children (up to 40 lbs.).
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
